Community Walk
Today we had our first community walk of the year. Students identified important landmarks, signs, and safety information as we strolled through the community. Each child had the chance to take pictures of some of the important things we saw. For example - a sign to indicate a crosswalk; a community service, like the bank; public art to beautify our neighbourhood. Talk to your child about what he/she saw and how you have or don't have these things in the community you live in!
