Critical Thinking Challenge
We're beginning our exploration of the prairie provinces. We started by critically looking at various pictures of the prairie landscape; asking ourselves what we saw, thought, and wondered. Students share their ideas with a friend and then with the class (something we call think, pair, share). After looking through many pictures and discuss the landscape of the prairies, students created their own version of the prairie landscape. Over the next couple weeks we'll continue to explore the prairie climate, culture, heritage, and daily life.
